July 2010
Coming soon to the Phenix City website is our online newsletter, "The Old Paths." The newsletter maybe downloaded in PDF format for easy reading offline, printing or e-mailing to friends. We're on Facebook! Search "The Church of God at Phenix City Alabama" and become a fan of our local church! Pictures from our April revival, yard sale, bake sale and special guests can be found on our Facebook page.
On July 24th, we'll be hosting a gospel singing with Lamp Recording artist, Billy Gene Dickerson. Bro. Dickerson's albums "Amen & Amen Again" and "Standing on the Rock" have had several songs on the christian country gospel charts. It's an honor to have him with us. CD's will be available for purchasing and a love offering will be received for Bro. Dickerson. Refreshments will be served during intermission. The singing will begin at 6pm.
Our website has a new listing on our "church links" page. In addition to our State and General Headquarters sites, we have listed the websites for our Bessemer, Canaan/Sumiton, Somerville, Goodwater and Alexander City Alabama churches. Our newest listing for the state of Alabama comes from our church in Moulton, Alabama. Be sure to visit their website when you visit our state directory. We have also listed a number of our State/Regional websites to assist in finding a local church in your area.
Beginning in October 2009, The Church of God International Offices is pleased to offer the Streams in the Desert podcast. For more information about subscribing to the podcast and downloading the iTunes software, visit our World Headquarters site on the church links page.
